Artist Michele

Hi! I'm Michele. I'm a Multimedia Artist living and working in the Palm Springs area.

I grew up in Detroit Michigan. Motown. Surrounded by awesome music, water (the Great Lakes) and the full spectrum of four seasons.

My best work seems to evolve from just being a kid with crayons and a coloring book.  My resume grew to also include: Poster paint out of a metal can, Play dough, Etch-o-sketch, Colorforms, Spin Art, Chalk on a sidewalk, Spirograph, Lanyard keychains and Macramé bracelets.

For many years, I  continued to enjoy making original jewelry. I created Rikki Michele Designs, a successful business with my mother. We created unique and very popular jewelry designs using Swarovski crystals and recycled bullets.

In 2010 I discovered Alcohol Inks which were used with embellishments for scrapbooking. In 2016 I was reintroduced to Alcohol Ink as an artist's medium to create work on canvas and framed pieces. With the Alcohol ink I am able to express myself with the vibrant colors I love!
